Red Drum
April through June | Poquoson, VA & Cape Charles, VA
Big red drum are a late spring early summer highlight. Captain Brian spends this part of the season fishing Virginia waters around Poquoson and Cape Charles, targeting large red drum as they move through the bay. These trips are planned around weather, tides, bait movement, and current fish activity.
Striped Bass
Year Round | Chesapeake Bay & Potomac & Patuxent River
Striped bass are a year round target and one of the most reliable light tackle opportunities in the region. Depending on the season, trips may include casting, jigging, trolling, or working birds, bait, structure, and current. Captain Brian adjusts each trip based on where the fish are active.

Cobia season brings exciting sight fishing and light tackle opportunities across the Chesapeake Bay and Cape Charles area. These summer trips focus on locating moving fish, reading conditions, and giving anglers a shot at one of the bay’s most exciting warm weather targets.

Request Your Trip
Choose your preferred date, trip type, and target species. All trip requests are subject to final approval. Captain Brian will confirm availability, launch location, weather, and trip details before your date is finalized.
Prepare for the Day
Bring your own food, drinks, sunglasses, sunscreen, and any personal items you want on the boat. The boat has a head onboard for convenience. For winter and early season trips, dress warmer than you think you need to. It is always colder on the water.
Fish With Everything Provided
Captain Brian provides the rods, reels, tackle, bait or lures needed for the trip. You are also welcome to bring your own gear if you prefer. Once you are on the water, he will adjust the plan based on the bite, tides, weather, and conditions.
