Thomason Tradition
Brian is co-founder of Thomason Tradition, a father-son duo who often fish together with two boats on the water finding fish. Brian is a life-long angler who is living the dream of light tackle fishing full-time on the Chesapeake Bay. As a life-long resident of Southern Maryland, Brian has been fishing these waters for decades.
About The Boat
Brian fishes from a 28-foot Sport Fisher outfitted with a site tower, the latest Hummingbird Apex electronics, twin Yamaha 300s, and a Minn Kota trolling motor. The layout and design allow for comfortable movement and mobility, allowing anglers to move around comfortably with comfortable seating for seven.There is plenty of storage for bags and gear under the main console as well as a working head.
Brian will often cover over 100 miles searching for fish and the boat design allows for a smooth and comfortable ride in almost any conditions on the Chesapeake Bay with plenty of power to get there quick when the fish are biting somewhere else.
Brian trailers the boat, launching from multiple marinas in the area putting you closer to fish and getting you one fish faster.
